Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Coordinator

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating care across the continuum for BMT patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BMT Physicians and members of the multi-disciplinary team to oversee the BMT Plan.
- Manage consistent patient care by assuming the roles of educator, resource person, researcher, and direct and indirect patient care provider.
- Actively communicate pertinent information to those involved in the care of the patient.
- Organize and help facilitate continued care after consultation based on the plan of care for each patient.
Requirements:
- BSN required, Masters Degree in nursing preferred.
- State of Georgia nursing license required.
- Prefer Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification or obtain within 1 year of employment.
- Prefer BMTCTN/OCN or obtain within 2 years of employment.
- Demonstrated experience in Oncology nursing for minimum of 1 year.
- Prefer case management experience.
- Prefer Bone marrow transplant experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting for at least 1 year.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
