We are seeking new graduate nurses to join our dynamic team at Piedmont Columbus Midtown. Our Nurse Residency program is a 12-month transition-to-practice initiative designed to support the development of clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional commitment.

Program Overview

The RN Residency program at Piedmont Columbus Midtown is a comprehensive, transition-to-practice initiative that facilitates your progress from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship, and peer support. Our goal is to prepare you for high-quality, safe patient care through blended learning experiences and peer interaction.

Responsibilities

As a staff nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. You will work within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Requirements

We are looking for new graduates of a nursing program who are eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Advanced certification in a field of specialty is also an asset.
