Compensation: $22/hr
Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Logistics Coordinator involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring smooth operations within the logistics framework. The main responsibilities include:
- Executing tasks with an emphasis on quality and efficiency, adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Managing shipment details, including order creation, shipment activation, load building, load assignment, appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, event entry, and invoicing.
- Monitoring task boards and designated email accounts to address inquiries from customers and carriers.
- Documenting events based on established SOPs and personal experience, while following escalation procedures when necessary.
- Ensuring customer and carrier satisfaction by following up on requests.
- Escalating inquiries or requests as needed.
- Validating and confirming the accuracy of load data in accordance with company and customer standards.
- Performing additional duties as assigned based on team or country-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in customer service.
Preferred:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, prioritization, and time management.
- Previous experience requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
