Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mail Distribution and Organization: Ensure that all incoming mail is distributed to the appropriate personnel and departments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Accounts Payable Invoicing: Assist with the processing and recording of accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Check Copying: Copy and file checks as required, maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
  • Contract Labor Invoicing: Assist in the preparation and management of invoices related to contract labor, ensuring all billing is accurate and submitted on time.
  • General Accounting Support: Provide general support to the accounting team, including data entry, document scanning, and other clerical tasks as needed.
  • Excel Reporting: Use Excel to compile and organize data, preparing reports as required by the accounting department.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and support various accounting tasks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Basic Accounting Experience: Required.
  • Intermediate Excel Skills: Required.
  • Strong Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Required.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Required.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Required.
  • Brief Knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance Tasks: Preferred.
  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable and Receivable Processes: Preferred.
  • Familiarity with Facility Management Software: Preferred.
