About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a key member of our primary patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining an organized healthcare office, allowing medical staff to focus on patient care.
  • Coordinate department communication within the unit, between ancillary departments, and with supervisory and management teams as required.
  • Admit patients, administer and maintain patient records, and break down medical charts for record keeping.
  • Coordinate billing and perform other standard administrative responsibilities.
  • Support the Behavioral Health Tech team by providing direct supervision of assigned children during work shifts, maintaining patient safety, and implementing behavioral interventions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years old to apply.
  • First Aid, Basic Life Support, and MANDT Certified training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a healthcare or therapy-related field.
  • Certification or licensure in a related healthcare or therapy field.
  • Experience as a Behavioral Health Tech or in a related field.
