About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is part of a high-profile group tasked with enhancing revenue results by taking a global view of clinical and financial processes. As a Sr. Revenue Integrity Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert, communicating directly with physicians, nurses, patient accounts, and the billing department to ensure charge capture workflows align with MSKCC standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with various committees and groups to ensure continuity in processes that increase revenue capture.
  • Act as a liaison to bridge communication gaps and foster collaboration among departments.
  • Maintain a rapport and frequent visibility with all contacts to foster a trusting relationship and encourage discovery of revenue capture opportunities.
  • Facilitate effective communication between billing, coding, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of charge capture and charge reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare and distribute summaries as they relate to process improvement in charge capture.
  • Assist clinical areas in understanding EPIC charging related reports and interpretation of WQ/Edits and Revenue Guardian Checks.
  • Assist Revenue Integrity Manager with facilitation of RAC Audit requests.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of hospital revenue experience.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and Epic is a plus.
  • 4 years of knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare OPPS reimbursement, and other third-party billing rules and coverage.
  • Computer skills required include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and Word.
