About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Sales Representative to join our team at Summers Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for communicating with customers, identifying their heating and cooling needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate quotes for replacements or repairs.
  • Complete proposed work as quoted and participate in on-call assignments as required.
  • Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Sell equipment, accessories, and other promotional materials from the company.
Requirements
  • Must have sales experience and the ability to learn to determine residential HVAC service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
  • Must understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems, and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as crawling, climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead.
