The George is an upscale boutique hotel that promises an exceptional lodging and dining experience. With a focus on providing a unique atmosphere, our establishment features a variety of amenities, including a full-service restaurant and event spaces, all designed to enhance our guests' stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding and attentive service to all guests.
  • Handle sensitive information, including guest records, with utmost confidentiality.
  • Ensure adherence to credit card and key control policies.
  • Gather and verify essential guest information, ensuring accuracy for check-in/check-out processes.
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel emergency protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash and credit transactions.
  • Safeguard guest privacy and confidentiality of personal data.
  • Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and luggage when necessary.
  • Protect company assets and proprietary information.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using office equipment and property management systems.
  • Follow all safety and security policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
  • Participate in required training sessions and meetings.
  • Exhibit proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize the safety of yourself, staff, and guests, reporting incidents promptly.
  • Engage in team activities and meetings.
  • Availability: Flexible hours, typically 30 to 40 hours over a five-day period, including weekends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: One or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • Additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with a strong record in hospitality.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues and guests.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in emergency situations.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform various tasks throughout the shift.
