KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain cleanliness and service in hallways and public spaces, fulfilling roles as needed.
  • Ensure public restrooms are stocked with essential supplies.
  • Complete daily tasks to meet the high standards of our establishment.
  • Assist with various housekeeping duties, including cleaning public areas and preparing rooms.
  • Conduct visual inspections of public spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
  • Keep housekeeping carts organized and well-stocked throughout shifts.
  • Manage waste disposal effectively.
  • Receive and organize deliveries in designated storage areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for items.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of windows and entryways as assigned.
  • Prepare housekeeping areas for the next shift, ensuring all supplies are replenished.
  • Address guest requests efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Alongside core duties, this role may involve a variety of supportive tasks, including:
  • Promoting safety for staff and guests.
  • Participating in team meetings and activities.
  • Completing assigned tasks and assisting colleagues as needed.
  • Cross-training with the Front Office team to support various operations.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with hours varying based on hotel needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:
  • Previous cleaning experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Capability to assist in various housekeeping functions.
  • Ability to remain composed in diverse situations and resolve issues effectively.
Attributes:
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of cleanliness standards.
  • Physical capability to navigate the hotel environment, including stairs.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to work approximately 35 hours weekly.
  • Frequent standing and walking required.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders.
  • Consistent communication through spoken and written means.
