High School Teacher

LIFELONG LEARNING ADMINISTRATION CO is seeking a highly qualified High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing academic support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Academic Plans: Create personalized academic plans for students, taking into account their transcripts, assessment data, career goals, and post-secondary aspirations.
- Establish a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
- Conduct Student Appointments: Meet with students regularly to discuss their progress, set goals, and provide guidance and support.
- Assign Courses and Resources: Assign relevant courses and learning materials to students, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed.
- Monitor Progress and Attendance: Regularly monitor student progress, attendance, and behavior, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Communicate with Parents and Colleagues: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Valid California Teaching Credential: Possess a valid California Single Subject or Multiple Subject teaching credential in the relevant subject area.
- Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area, with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- English Learner Authorization: Possess an English Learner Authorization.
- Basic Skills Exam: Pass the California Basic Skills Exam.
- Proficient in MS Word and Email: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word and email communication.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of workflow management and project coordination. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure is essential.
