Qualifications and Requirements
All candidates must successfully complete each component of the selection process to be considered for the position.
No Written Examination - Applications will be evaluated for interview eligibility.
Performance Assessment: To Be Determined
An eligibility list will remain active for six months or until fewer than three candidates are left on the list.
If five (5) qualified candidates from the Lancaster School District demonstrate the necessary qualifications, the position will be filled through promotion.
Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent AND:
* Must possess a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) or a higher qualification.
* Must hold a valid California driver's license and be insurable.
* CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFICATION is required.
* Two (2) recent letters of reference are necessary.
* To be considered, all qualifications MUST BE ATTACHED when submitting the application.
