We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Developmental Disabilities Institute.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage confidential correspondence, reports, and documents.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and files, and perform data entry tasks as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with staff, families, and stakeholders.
- Translate written documents and provide verbal translation as needed.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, photocopying, and operating office equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- One year of experience in an office environment.
- Formal secretarial or office management training in lieu of experience.
- Demonstrable computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Thorough knowledge of English and fluency in a second language.
Physical Demands
This role requires sitting for up to two hours at a time, using office equipment, and lifting/moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule and occasional flexibility to meet business needs.
