About the Job: An Accounts Payable Coordinator/Specialist is needed for a company in Ronkonkoma, NY. This role involves various aspects of accounts payable and finance-related projects. The position is temp to perm, full-time, and in-office.

Job Details:

• Salary: $24-$26 per hour.
• Shift: First shift.
• Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM.
• Education: Associate degree required.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete all Accounts Payable tasks efficiently and accurately.
2. Verify invoices through 3-way matching with purchase orders.
3. Analyze and resolve price discrepancies.
4. Ensure necessary documents are attached to invoices and stored electronically.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to prepare customer invoices.
6. Negotiate and maintain relationships with vendors.
7. Address vendor inquiries promptly.
8. Process weekly payment batches or online payments to vendors.
9. Support in preparing financial journal entries.
10. Reconcile general ledger accounts and rectify discrepancies.

Requirements:

• AP experience.
• Multitasking abilities.
