Work Arrangement: Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote
Career Level: Mid-Level
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your engineering or related science degree to contribute to fire protection projects.
- Leverage 2 to 6 years of professional experience in Fire Suppression and/or Fire Alarm design.
- Apply your knowledge of general building construction to assist in consulting and design services.
- Conduct analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new systems, including fire suppression, alarms, and mass notification systems.
- Perform fire and life safety analysis for both existing and new structures, focusing on hazardous materials and fire-rated construction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for project execution.
- Work independently and collaboratively within teams, managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Contribute positively to the office culture and departmental objectives.
- Familiarity with Title 24 CA Building Standards Code and NFPA Standards is essential.
- Visa sponsorship is available; experience in the US is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in federal, healthcare, and educational project design is advantageous.
- EIT Certification is a plus.
- Background in fire and life safety code analysis and building surveys is preferred.
- Experience with fire modeling, BESS analysis, or hazardous materials is beneficial.
