Job Summary

To support the surgical team during operative procedures by preparing sterile equipment and passing instruments to the operating team.

Key responsibilities include assisting with inventory, sterilization of instruments, preparing and selecting equipment for procedures, transferring patients as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare sterile equipment and instruments for surgical procedures
  • Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to the operating team
  • Assist with inventory and sterilization of instruments
  • Prepare and select equipment for procedures
  • Transfer patients as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or completion of a Surgical Technology training program
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Ability to scrub all services
