Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and certified Surgical Technologist to join our Labor and Delivery team at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team with instrument setup, patient positioning, and specimen handling
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Surgical Technology or current certification as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA
  • 2 years of surgical technologist experience (without Associate's degree in Surgical Technology)
  • Certification preferred with Associate Degree
