Project Coordinator for IT Service Delivery

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Digital Modernization Sector, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and optimization of IT services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee project coordination activities, collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, and provide project status updates to key stakeholders. You will work closely with senior government personnel to understand service needs and ensure that IT services align with their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities, including planning, execution, and optimization of IT services
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify service needs and develop plans to meet those needs
- Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders, including senior government personnel
- Work with technical teams to report project status and assist with other support tasks, as required
- Set project goals, come up with plans to meet those goals, and report status throughout the project lifecycle
- Brief and present project plans to key stakeholders
- Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress
- Coordinate project tasks with team members and manage delivery team resources when developing schedules
- Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
- Conduct risk assessments for projects
- Assist with the development of content for program reviews and contract milestones
- Attend technical meetings and prepare formal written minutes (as required) for delivery to the government
- Communicate orally and in writing detailed technical information
Requirements
- Active DoD SECRET Clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated success working with technical leads and subject matter experts to understand and define resource requirements to order to develop schedules that ensure operational projects are completed on time within budget readiness
- Demonstrated success in managing project team activities and technical resources, and providing periodic project status to stakeholders
- Through understanding of DISA implementation process and E&I standard
- Skilled at creating, modifying, and maintaining project schedules to meet project demands
- Ability to serve as liaison between stakeholders and program leadership, assist with briefing stakeholders regularly on project purpose and progress, and alerting program leadership to developing issues and opportunities throughout the area of responsibility
- Optimize, facilitate, and finalize all aspects of site acceptance and quality control
- Collaborate with partners to coordinate and perform project objectives to include site surveys, installations, testing, site deinstallations, quality control, and provide customer-ready deliverable reports upon completion
- Knowledge and skillset to distinguish between Site Assessment, Site Survey, Installation, and Commissioning
- Demonstrated success in developing IBOM, MBOM, and Master TRBOMs
- Demonstrated success with interaction and collaboration with stakeholders at an 0-6/GS-15 level
- Demonstrated success in working with leadership to understand the define resources needs of your project
- Experience in performing project audits; monitor/tracking of corrective actions; managing process improvement; performing process checks on internal procedures; and reviewing contract deliverables
- Strong understanding of the DISN network, engineering, and design
- Expertise in fully understanding the DISA logistic process and procedures
- Demonstrated success in multi-tasking, self-assigning work, and functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated success project management approaches
- MS Project experience
- Agile experience
- Specialized experience includes full life cycle development, demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction for Network Operations, Administration & Maintenance, and Network Assurance tasks
- Expertise in identifying areas of improvement, critical dependencies, and process changes that enable the Government to attain integrated outcomes that are effective, efficient, sustainable, and improve customer satisfaction
- Experience coordinating with multiple technical and operational teams to achieve the necessary program, project, or activity plans, and schedules while maintaining within budget guidelines
- Strong understanding of the factors which allow successful performance on a Firm Fixed Performance Based Contracts with aggressive Acceptable Levels of Performance (ALPs) and ability to drive new projects to successfully transition into this type of contract environment
- Experience in assigning tasks to contractor personnel that are located in multiple time zones, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing contract performance on new task orders and projects identified by the customer
