Leidos, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Modernization Sector, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile projects for the Government Information Grid Service Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at Fort Meade, MD.

**Job Description**

  • Lead planning, execution, and optimization of IT services to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior government personnel to understand service needs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Work with technical teams to report project status and assist with other support tasks as required.
  • Set project goals, develop plans to achieve them, and report status throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Brief and present project plans to key stakeholders.
  • Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
  • Coordinate project tasks with team members, manage delivery team resources when developing schedules.
  • Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
  • Conduct risk assessments for projects.
  • Assist with the development of content for program reviews and contract milestones.
  • Attend technical meetings and prepare formal written minutes for delivery to the government.
  • Communicate detailed technical information orally and in writing.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Active DoD SECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated success working with technical leads and subject matter experts to define resource requirements and develop schedules that ensure operational projects are completed on time within budget readiness.
  • Demonstrated success in managing project team activities and technical resources, and providing periodic project status to stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the DISA implementation process and E&I standard.
  • Possess the ability to create, modify, and maintain project schedules to meet project demands.
  • Ability to serve as liaison between stakeholders and program leadership, assist with briefing stakeholders regularly on project purpose and progress, and alerting program leadership to developing issues and opportunities throughout the area of responsibility.
