About the Role

M.C. Dean's Maritime Division is seeking a highly skilled Ship/Submarine Management Analyst to join our Alteration Installation Teams. As a key member of our team, you will support C4ISR system installations on ships and submarines, working closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient installation of C4ISR systems
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Provide expert-level scheduling and project management support to our clients
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 5,000 hours of professional scheduling experience within the past nine years; or 3,500 hours with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools
Working Conditions
  • Work will be primarily based in San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA, with occasional travel to other shipyards and Navy ports
  • Must be a US citizen eligible for clearance and pass a background investigation
  • Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use computer screens for an extended period of time
  • Ability to reach by extending hands or arms in any direction
  • Ability to have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms
