Job Title: Ship/Submarine Engineering Technician 4

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in the maritime industry? M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ship/Submarine Engineering Technician 4 to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual to work on our Alteration Installation Teams, supporting C4ISR system installations on ships and submarines. As a Ship/Submarine Engineering Technician 4, you will be responsible for designing and installing complex mechanical and structural systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and install mechanical and structural systems on ships and submarines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze test results to inform design decisions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Work at heights up to 60 feet and climb ladders and scaffolding
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical or structural assembly, repair, and layouts
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical and structural planning, including shipboard mechanical and structural requirements
  • Superior skills in complex mechanical, sub-assembly, rack and chassis assembly
  • Superior leadership abilities and workmanship in a mission-critical environment
  • Occupation Safety Haz-Mat certification and ability to safely lift and move objects of 50 LBS
