Prime Healthcare Management Inc is seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst - Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, testing, training, and supporting the Lawson's Payroll modules, including payroll and absence management.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, test, train, and support the Lawson's Payroll modules, including payroll and absence management.
- Perform complex design and analysis tasks related to hospital business operations.
- Act as a mentor to other team members.
- Partner with Payroll Directors at hospitals and their customers to analyze work process designs, flows, and improvements to leverage the return on technological capabilities.
- Serve as a technical point-of-contact for an assigned functional area.
- Assist subject matter experts by ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
- Support Payroll upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Three to five years of Payroll experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Lawson modules, including Payroll, Absence Management, ESS, MSS, Crystal Report Writing, and Add-ins.
- Proven experience on Payroll processing and strong understanding of pay practices, pay codes, deductions codes, union dues, etc.
- Experience with Lawson HCM system full-cycle implementation, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Kronos or JBDev time clocking system is required.
- Knowledge of developing interfaces with third-party vendors is a plus.
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment with many growth opportunities offered through diverse projects.
- Experience in integrating Lawson Payroll modules with other Lawson modules like Finance is required.
- Must have experience in data conversion techniques and methodologies.
- Three years or more of project management experience.
- Ability to define Process flows for Infor Process Automation.
