ROLE OVERVIEW: The selected candidate will take charge of all estimating functions for a range of construction initiatives. This position requires a strong command of cost management from the pre-construction phase through to the completion of Ground-Up, Steel Construction projects in the commercial sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with construction and development teams to define the scope, schedule, and specifics of new construction ventures.
- Evaluate and estimate costs associated with all facets of commercial development.
- Conduct research on materials and services as needed.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and accurate estimates.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Cost Estimation.
- Proven background in Commercial and Retail Construction.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic with a capacity to handle several projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Ground-Up, Steel Construction projects is essential.
