Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate or Full Professor of Digital Population Health to join our team at Lehigh University's College of Health. This tenure-track position offers a unique opportunity to advance population health through digital technologies.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have a specialization in mHealth, health IT, wearables, VR/AR, telehealth, telemedicine, clinical decision support, data-driven health policy, personalized wellness, and assistive technologies for disability independence. They will be expected to teach introductory courses in health information technology and/or health data science, as well as upper-level courses in their area of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research that advances population health through digital technologies
  • Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Engage in scholarly activities and participate in departmental, college, and university service
  • Collaborate with colleagues throughout Lehigh University, including faculty creating assistive technologies and with Lehigh University partners

Requirements
  • Earned doctorate in biostatistics, engineering, public or population health, computer or computational science, mathematics, linguistics, social/behavioral sciences, or a closely related field
  • Research experience in digital technologies and population health
  • Teaching experience in health information technology and/or health data science
