Lehigh University's Department of Community and Population Health invites applications for a tenure-track professor at the rank of Associate or Full with a specialization in the health of Latin American populations domestic to the United States. This appointment includes the possibility of tenure on hire for qualified candidates.

About the Position

We seek a scholar with a strong research agenda focused on Latino health, who can contribute to our department's mission to understand, preserve, and improve the health and well-being of domestic and global populations and communities. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a proven track record of research, teaching, and service.

Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory and upper-level courses in community and population health, as well as courses in the candidate's area of expertise
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university service, including mentoring students and junior faculty members
  • Contribute to the growth of the College of Health
