Teaching Faculty in Health Policy

Lehigh University's Department of Community and Population Health invites applications for a non-tenure-track Teaching Faculty in Health Policy position. This role is a renewable, fixed-term, non-tenure-track, full-time position with an anticipated start date of July 2025.

The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in U.S. health policy, healthcare management, health services administration, health finance, health economics, or a closely related field by the date of employment. They will be expected to teach 6 classes per year at the undergraduate and graduate levels, covering topics in health policy, health services administration, healthcare operations management, or healthcare finance.

The faculty member will also advise students in our undergraduate and graduate degree programs, contribute to course development, and provide service to the department, college, and university. They will serve 1-2 three-year terms as co-director of the Integrated Business and Health Program, with appropriate course releases.

While the position is not tenurable, Teaching Assistant Professors who develop excellent records in the areas of teaching and service are expected to become eligible for consideration for promotion to the rank of Teaching Associate Professor, and ultimately to the rank of Teaching Full Professor.
