Job Summary

Strongbridge is seeking a highly skilled Records Management Analyst to support our work with the US Department of Transportation (DOT), FRA. As a Records Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of records life cycle support for a federal government records management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and provide daily assistance to the Records Management Officer in managing records inventories, record scheduling, records disposals and transfers, training, policy and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for records/data management system.
  • Research and resolve issues independently.
  • Responsible for storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records.
  • Evaluate and recommend media formats and storage requirements for records/information.
  • Assist with transforming legacy system with emerging records management solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 6 years experience with NARA compliant records management lifecycle
  • Experience interpreting NARA record retention schedules
  • Experience using NARA's ERA system
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft Office products
  • Self-starter with strong analytic skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills

  • Degree in Library Science
