Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join our team in the Critical Care setting. As a critical care echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms on critically ill patients, including those on mechanical circulatory support devices. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality echocardiograms on critically ill patients, including those on mechanical circulatory support devices
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care to our patients
Develop and maintain expertise in critical care echocardiography, including advanced imaging techniques and interpretation of complex echocardiograms
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in echocardiography and critical care medicine

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program
Minimum 5 years of experience as an echocardiographer, with at least 3 years in a critical care setting
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) or Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE)
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
