Position Overview:

The Healthcare Customer Support Specialist (HCSS) reports directly to the Nurse Manager within the unit. This role is essential for facilitating communication between various stakeholders: patients, families, healthcare professionals, other departments, vendors, and external agencies. The HCSS serves as the primary point of contact for customers, whether in person or via telephone. This position involves performing critical tasks to support medical, nursing, and administrative teams in fulfilling the needs of the unit, department, and organization. Additionally, the HCSS assists in coordinating, planning, developing, and executing assigned projects. This role also includes overseeing front desk operations and administrative responsibilities, as well as managing the daily performance of clerical support staff.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Qualifications:

A foundational knowledge in healthcare administration or office management, typically acquired through an Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service, data management, time management, and office management is preferred.
