About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and sales expansion.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the management of all operational systems, including ticketing systems, customer database systems, and IT needs.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, and community leaders.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual operations budget and capital projects to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Sponsorship and Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities, and develop strategies to increase revenue growth.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a premier customer experience through effective management of food and beverage vendors, and merchandising strategies.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain a presence in the community through speaking engagements, attending social/business functions, and engaging relationships with key political and business leaders.
  • Media Relations: Act as a spokesperson for the organization, and manage media relations to ensure positive coverage.
  • Ballpark Operations: Oversee all aspects of ballpark operations, including stadium events and rentals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a strong Assistant General Manager or General Manager, with a proven track record of management and sales success.
  • Skills: Superior communication skills, strong sales instincts, solid organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Qualifications: Proven track record of sales and management success, experience developing and managing an operating budget, and familiarity with computerized ticketing systems and operational systems that run a ballpark.
