Job Overview


We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives at the Dua Miami Hotel. This role is pivotal in the exciting rebranding and transition of our hotel, part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott.


The Senior Human Resources Manager will oversee the recruitment of qualified candidates, ensure compliance with employment regulations, manage all aspects of compensation and benefits, and direct training programs while fostering positive employee relations through effective coaching and counseling.


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Human Resources Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting and onboarding qualified personnel.
  • Ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations.
  • Overseeing compensation, benefits, and workers' compensation programs.
  • Implementing and managing training and development initiatives.
  • Coaching and guiding management on employee relations issues.
  • Maintaining a positive workplace culture through effective communication and support.


Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in the hospitality industry or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.


Additional Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Senior Human Resources Manager will:

  • Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Prepare and manage the HR budget.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops.
  • Monitor employee engagement and turnover rates.
  • Participate in safety and compliance committees.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
