Patient Access Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Patient Friendly Access initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on patient care and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include:

Providing supervision and guidance to Patient Friendly Access staff to ensure optimal patient experience and customer service.
Investigating and resolving problems and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Advocating for patients and families while coordinating multi-visit scheduling and appointments.
Providing exceptional customer service to patients and families while assisting them in obtaining access to medical services.
Maintaining a positive and professional work environment conducive to professional development.

Minimum requirements include a high school graduate or equivalent, with an associate's degree preferred. Three years of relevant experience are also required. The University of Virginia is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
