Job Title: Field Service Controls Automation Specialist

Atlas Copco North America is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Controls Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for programming, commissioning, and installing automated solutions developed by our Application Center North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our automation team during the concept and design phase of projects
  • Provide feedback and experience from the field to inform project development
  • Assist with programming and debugging of systems while projects are assembled in our workshop
  • Follow projects into the field and assist with installation and commissioning at customer sites
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics) or equivalent on-the-job experience (5+ years)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with cobot integration, PLC programming, and HMIs
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic drawings
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols and architecture
