The Hotel Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours. This position is responsible for conducting end-of-day processes and supervising hotel activities throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs using the hotel management system.
  • Handle guest reservations via phone and in-person inquiries.
  • Operate the hotel switchboard to manage guest calls and wake-up requests.
  • Balance cash drawers for all shifts and prepare daily audit reports.
  • Oversee the gift shop operations and process transactions during shifts.
  • Address safety and security issues following established protocols.
  • Utilize laundry equipment for cleaning and maintaining linens.
  • Deliver additional guest supplies as requested.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas and the lobby.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in computer operations.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules and operational guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills with both customers and team members.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and reports.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while using a telephone and computer. Candidates must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs. Clear communication skills are necessary in a busy environment.
