Guest Relations - Hotel Front Desk Staff

Job Overview: The Guest Relations role is pivotal in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. As the first point of contact, you will embody the spirit of hospitality, providing exceptional service and support to our guests.
Position Type: Part-Time | 20-25 hours per week
Shifts: Morning and evening shifts available, including weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Office Manager and indirectly to the Corporate Controller and General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests, residents, and vendors.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes in accordance with established protocols.
- Act as a concierge, addressing guest inquiries and providing tailored solutions.
- Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and other departments regarding reservation updates.
- Engage in upselling opportunities to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle reservations and payments for hotel stays and special events, adhering to company policies.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the lobby and office areas.
- Perform administrative tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
- Proficient in computer applications and mobile devices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, perform light housekeeping tasks, and navigate stairs.
Work Environment: Primarily indoor, climate-controlled setting with occasional outdoor responsibilities.
Uniform Policy: Business casual attire is required, with guidelines on neatness and professionalism.
