Senior Market Research Manager, Creative Excellence

As a Senior Market Research Manager, Creative Excellence, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing advertising research projects at various stages of the development cycle for leading brands across diverse industries. Your collaboration with the broader team will be key in uncovering and communicating key insights and actionable strategies to help shape future advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultation to help clients understand how consumers respond to advertising, guiding the creative development process.
- Lead the design of research projects to address specific client communication strategy needs.
- Manage and coordinate advertising research projects from initial proposal to results delivery, including costing, proposal & study design, questionnaire development, data analysis, interpretation of results, and preparation of final deliverables.
- Liaise with internal operations groups to ensure reliable results are delivered to clients in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients by responding to queries, providing updates, and ensuring expert advisory and thought leadership.
- Manage project details in our internal costing system, ensuring alignment with research target specifications.
- Manage and mentor a direct report.
- Foster internal collaboration to deliver flawlessly.
- Exercise strong leadership skills in interactions with clients and teammates.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's Degree, Master's level education an asset.
- 4-5 years' experience.
- At least 3 years of market research experience, advertising or media experience an asset.
- A passion for creativity and advertising with an innate curiosity about human behavior.
- Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail, and demonstrated commitment to accuracy and completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Comfortable with reading, interpreting, and finding insights in data.
- A knack for storytelling and extracting the 'so what' for clients to make the best decisions for their creatives based on business objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
- Strong project management skills, particularly in ensuring projects are executed efficiently within the stipulated timeline and budget.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines.
- Thrives within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
