Job Title: Store Manager

Swift Fresh Market is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our store operations. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining high standards of customer service, and creating a positive working environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Financial Management:
    • Achieve sales targets and operational goals through effective budgeting and inventory control.
    • Analyze sales reports and trends to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure a high standard of customer service is provided at all times, resolving complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Foster a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to meet company standards, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
    • Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively, promoting a positive team environment and encouraging staff motivation.
  • Operations and Merchandising:
    • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring merchandise is well-organized and attractively displayed.
    • Implement and follow company policies and procedures, conducting regular inventory checks and managing stock levels.
  • Marketing and Community Engagement:
    • Implement local marketing strategies and promotional events, building and maintaining relationships with customers and community stakeholders.
    • Monitor and adapt to market trends and competitor activities, ensuring the store remains competitive and relevant.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and addressing any issues promptly.
    • Ensure all staff are trained in store safety procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, including supervising staff.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in using retail management software and POS systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
