About the Role

Skillforce is currently hiring for an Occupational Health and Safety Manager to oversee the development and implementation of our comprehensive safety program. As a seasoned professional, you will lead our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy work environment while adhering to industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust safety management system that aligns with OSHA and MSHA guidelines.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff on safety best practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding worker safety.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations, as well as industry-specific standards.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful safety programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
