Job Overview

Skillforce is seeking a skilled Construction Safety Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate safety meetings with customers and staff to promote a culture of safety.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and general liability issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting innovative solutions to enhance safety performance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in construction safety or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
