Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service is crucial; hotel front desk experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, such as Spanish and English, is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition are essential.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills are required.
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
- Familiarity with the local area is a plus.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is expected.
- Willingness to assist in hotel marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and sales.
Key Responsibilities: This position encompasses a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Acting as a brand ambassador, embodying the hotel's values in every guest interaction and utilizing social media to promote hotel offerings.
- Warmly welcoming guests during check-in and check-out to ensure a memorable experience.
- Handling guest payments and reservations while anticipating their needs.
- Addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate guest registration records and room assignments.
- Promoting and upselling hotel amenities to achieve revenue goals.
- Presenting a professional appearance that reflects the hotel's brand.
- Fostering a collaborative team environment focused on exceeding guest expectations.
Compensation: $15 - $16 per hour
