InsideHigherEd is seeking a Compliance Investigator to join our team. As a Compliance Investigator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that SCAD staff, faculty, and students comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as university policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations into violations of sexual misconduct and human resources (HR) policies
  • Collect and analyze evidence, interview relevant parties, and review documents in search of facts
  • Present investigation results to relevant stakeholders, including senior management, to facilitate decision-making and the implementation of corrective measures
  • Establish professional and productive working relationships with staff at all levels of the university

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, ethics, human resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in compliance investigations in an educational or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to higher education and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in compliance, investigations, or related fields

Work Environment

The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
