Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support in conducting investigations on known Quality issues under the oversight of a QAEII. The role involves implementing plans and instructions in support of departmental policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and promoting a good working relationship with local regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related technical field, and experience in conducting investigations, implementing quality processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations on known Quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and promote a good working relationship with local regulatory authorities.
- Implement plans and instructions in support of departmental policies.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction (internal and external customers).
- Develop and maintain a FOD free environment.
- Execute company policies and procedures; develop new procedures as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related technical field.
- Experience in conducting investigations, implementing quality processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- ASQ certification (CQE) and/or experience as a FAA recognized airworthiness designee is highly preferred.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma processes.
- Ability to learn manufacturing processes (i.e., Assembly, Machining, Special Process, Inspection, etc.).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Proficient computer skills.
