Position Overview:
As a vital member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for operating transit buses on fixed routes, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.

Compensation:
Starting pay at $26.20 per hour for fixed route services.
Additional pay: $28.20 per hour for split shift fixed route operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
  • Safely navigate the bus according to established schedules and routes
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers
  • Assist with the safe boarding and alighting of passengers
  • Complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and inspections
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Additional Information:
This position is subject to physical and random drug testing as per DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit for extended periods, stand or walk occasionally, communicate clearly in person and via radio, and perform tasks that involve reaching, bending, and securing wheelchairs.
