EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field is preferred, though extensive experience may substitute
  • At least 5 years of relevant construction experience in similar roles
  • Demonstrated success as a collaborative team member and effective leader

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promotes safety as a fundamental principle
  • Oversees project initiation, including securing necessary permits and licenses
  • Evaluates and scopes bids from subcontractors and vendors
  • Manages the Request for Information (RFI) process and tracking
  • Oversees the submittal process and maintains tracking logs
  • Leads the development and updating of the overall project schedule
  • Prioritizes and facilitates timely material deliveries in accordance with project timelines
  • Co-facilitates subcontractor scheduling meetings with the superintendent
  • Handles change orders from subcontractors and maintains a change order log
  • Manages change orders from owners and keeps an accurate log
  • Creates precise financial projections for projects
  • Collaborates with Senior Project Manager to enhance profitability and address financial risks
  • Assists the superintendent with inspections required by local authorities
  • Oversees the project closeout process
  • Mentors and trains team members actively
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and educates new team members
  • Works closely with design teams, subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal clients to foster enduring relationships

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk
  • Frequently required to communicate verbally
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • May need to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Possible exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Vision capabilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Typical noise levels in the work environment are moderate

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
