Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure major and planned gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with College staff and faculty to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of major and planned gift prospects, including research, cultivation, and solicitation.
  • Work closely with the College's advancement team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Provide excellent stewardship to donors, ensuring timely and effective recognition of their gifts.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and advancement, and apply this knowledge to improve the College's fundraising efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of development experience, with a proven track record of successful major and planned giving fundraising.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate the College's mission and goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with mainstream donor management systems, preferably with Raiser's Edge NXT.
  • Proficient in office productivity software, preferably MS Office Suite.
