The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst, Senior to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping the Navy optimize their funding by analyzing costs and developing recommendations for cost-effective solutions.

As a Cost Analyst, Senior, you will be responsible for translating requirements into cost through data collection, model building, and cost and risk analyses. You will work closely with our team to develop total ownership cost estimates, which will help program managers, senior leadership, and our clients plan and field systems on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain cost models and estimates for complex systems and programs
  • Analyze cost data and identify trends and areas for cost reduction
  • Develop and implement cost-saving recommendations to senior leadership and program managers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-effective solutions
  • Provide cost analysis and estimation support to program managers and senior leadership
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with cost estimating or financial data analytics
  • Experience with DoD acquisition and supporting major milestones
  • Experience with data collection and analysis
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the manufacturing process flow
  • Experience with management and business development
  • Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Economics
  • International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certified Cost Estimator and Analyst (CCE/A) Certification
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154, annualized USD.
