Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Sport & Health. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to members, guests, and visitors, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage membership sales, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
  • Process cash, check, and credit card transactions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Schedule courts and program services for members, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Use online computer software to manage member check-ins, update member accounts, and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and trainings, staying up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assume other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of experience in a customer service or membership sales role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong work ethic, with a focus on punctuality, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and online software applications.
  • Familiarity with cash-handling procedures and ability to process transactions accurately.
