About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and growth of our leadless cardiac rhythm technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Programs

Develop and manage strategic programs to educate healthcare providers on indications for our leadless CRM portfolio, with the goal of maximizing adoption and procedural success.

Provide Clinical Expertise

Provide clinical expertise to current and new customers, leveraging your deep knowledge of our products and technologies to influence the outcome of procedures.

Technical Support and Service

Provide technical support and service to customers, including consultation at staff in-services and physician seminars, to ensure safe and effective use of our products.

Market Intelligence and Expansion

Provide market intelligence to inform the development of therapy training and expansion plans, and coordinate the delivery of programs and resources to facilitate market expansion and therapy access.

Education and Training

Oversee local education and training activities, including the coordination and facilitation of staff in-services, procedure simulators, and procedural troubleshooting.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as engineering, or equivalent/related experience. 3-5 years of clinical medical device experience, ideally with CRM products.

Skills and Abilities

A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices. Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively. High-level of comfort in navigating the medical environment, to include labs and hospital settings.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
