Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a 60-bed acute care facility, recognized for its full range of services and accredited by the Joint Commission. Our facility features a 24-hour Emergency Department, comprehensive imaging and lab services, and specialized institutes such as Joint Replacement and Senior Behavioral Health Services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment while facilitating a smooth check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage referrals for a collaborative care team.
- Maintain and update patient information in the electronic medical records system.
- Conduct patient intakes, including measuring vital signs and gathering medical histories, while addressing any questions or concerns regarding procedures.
- Actively listen and engage with patients throughout their appointments, ensuring any changes in their condition are communicated to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Handle incoming calls and patient messages with a focus on enhancing the patient experience, including returning calls and relaying important information to physicians.
- Perform basic medical tasks such as changing dressings, applying bandages, and removing sutures under physician supervision, while being prepared to use CPR skills if necessary.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and ensure accurate, ethical documentation at all times.
- Assist with center events as required.

Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in Acute Care or Med/Surg settings, but candidates from other nursing backgrounds with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
- Must possess a valid CNA license (CNA 2 preferred).
- Experience working with diverse patient populations is essential, with a focus on maintaining a manageable patient ratio of 11:1.
- Availability for a self-scheduled shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, three times a week.
