As a Quality Resident Engineer at TRIGO, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and quality issue resolution. Your primary goal will be to build a strong professional relationship with our customers at the plant level, identifying yourself as their representative and qualified to deal with production issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, address quality issues, and promote the contracted customer's reputation.
- Relationship Building: Establish a tight and solid professional relationship with customers at the plant level.
- Problem Analysis: Analyze problems at our facility to find solutions and inform affected production plants to take corrective actions.
- Communication: Maintain an open and straight communication line between OEM and the contracted customer.
- Improvement Suggestions: Suggest improvements to both OEM and contracted customer.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide continuous feedback to customers about the status and evolution of existing claims.
- Meetings and Audits: Participate in customer meetings and conduct regular audits to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Keep yourself trained and updated on technical and quality-related specifics and business topics.
- Competitor Intelligence: Be aware of and transmit to your TRIGO Resident Liaison Manager any project or initiative taken by our competitors.
- Reporting and Communication: Report on a regular basis to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.
- Launch Support: Participate in prototype, pre-serial builds, or line trials, launch support, and engineering changes at the customer's site.
- Representation: Represent the contracted partner and the customer's interests.
- Repair and Sorting: Coordinate repair and/or sorting activities on site, requiring written confirmation from the contracted client.
- Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical skills and knowledge.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Process Control: Strong knowledge of process and process controls.
- Standardized Work: Ability to identify and implement standardized work.
- Audits: Experience with process and product audits.
- Shipping and Receiving: Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Leadership: Strong personality able to give direction and lead teams.
- Automotive Knowledge: Sequencing and knowledge of automotive parts (preferred).
- Tier 1 Experience: Tier 1 experience (preferred).
- Pressure Management: Ability to deal with pressure and ambiguous situations.
