Location Description

Our resort is situated on 27 acres, adjacent to Myrtle Beach State Park. Enjoy white-sand beaches, fishing off Springmaid Pier, and easy access to The Market Commons shopping and dining. Our amenities include restaurants, lazy rivers, and indoor and outdoor pools.

Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor provides leadership and guidance as the lead Front Office Clerk, ensuring consistent quality customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating effectively with staff and guests
  • Monitoring lobby traffic and adjusting staffing accordingly
  • Greeting guests with a friendly welcome
  • Completing registration processes efficiently
  • Promoting the hotel's marketing program
  • Making room assignments based on guest needs
  • Handling cash, making change, and balancing the house bank
  • Accepting and recording vouchers, traveler's checks, and other forms of payment
  • Converting foreign currency and performing accurate arithmetic functions
  • Posting charges to guest rooms and house accounts
  • Answering phones and retrieving messages
  • Resolving customer complaints and complications
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic mathematical skills and computer proficiency
  • Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform behind the front desk
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience preferred

We value applicants with additional language skills and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Note that our hotel operates 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, and employees may be required to move to different shifts as business demands.
